A Team Lead you talk to

The Team Lead is the agent you chat with. It turns what you ask for into cards, keeps the board moving and answers the other agents’ questions before they reach you.

Ask in plain words

Tell the Team Lead what you need, and it makes the cards, comments on them and moves them. It can start or continue an agent’s run, add agents and columns, and attach a file you gave it to a card. It reads a read-only copy of each project’s code, so its plans fit what is really there.

Nothing risky without your yes

Once an answer has used a tool from outside GizAi, like an MCP server or the web, the Team Lead’s calls that start runs, change agents or save to memory wait. Each one sits under the answer with a preview of what it would do, and Approve or Discard. Approve runs that one call, once. Until you decide, the chat waits at the top of your Inbox.

It answers the agents first

When an agent stops to ask for a decision, the Team Lead looks first. It reads the card, the docs, memory and the code, and answers with a comment so the agent can carry on. What it can’t decide comes to you with its reasons, the options and its advice. Money, scope, deadlines, security and messages to clients always come to you.

FAQ

Questions about the Team Lead

Which CLI does the Team Lead run on?

Claude Code. Runs on, under the chat’s text box, moves a chat to another Claude Code account, for example when one is close to its weekly limit. The new account picks up the conversation where it was.

Does it watch the board on its own?

If you want it to. The board check, off until you switch it on, looks every 15 minutes for answered questions, stuck cards and cards no agent will start. It only acts when something has changed.

Can it merge pull requests?

Only in a project where you switch on Team Lead may merge. Even then it merges just the pull requests that QA passed and whose checks are green, with a merge commit. Releases and deploys stay with you.

Can agents’ questions come straight to me instead?

Yes. Switch off Ask the Team Lead first in Settings, Runs, and every question an agent asks lands in your Inbox.

Are old chats ever deleted?

No. Recent shows the 30 chats with the latest activity, and Archive keeps every chat, with a search. A new message in an old chat brings it back to the top.
